Palo Santo sticks are perfect for cleansing if you want a change from sage. Palo Santo literally means holy wood and does, just as white sage, originate from the native Indians in South America
Centuries ago they already used it during ceremonies to clear the aura and to heal from negative influences. In Europe too, people choose to buy the holy wood to clean their houses or just for the fragrances in its purest form. I sell these in packs of 5, approximately 110mm long. These are taken from the wood of branches that had fallen naturally from the trees
To use, light the end of the palo santo stick and allow to smoulder, place into a heat-resistant bowl or shell and gently disperse the smoke throughout the area you are cleansing to dispel negative energies. The smoke can be 'wafted' either with your hand or with a feather, or, just gently blow it. Fully extinguish after use and keep away from pets and children
